CMS - Reset a user account when locked or forgotten password | Admin : Creating users and roles

To unlock a user account:

1. Navigate to the CMS.
2. On the left-hand menu click Admin at the bottom of the list.
3. Select Users & Permissions.
4. Click Users & Permissions.
5. Find the user account in question and click the Edit button.
6. Untick the Is Locked checkbox.
7. Click Save.

To reset a forgotten or expired password:

1. Navigate to the your website's log-in page (schooldomain/admin).
2. Click Forgot Password? link underneath the log-in fields.
3. Enter the email address associated with your website log-in when prompted.
4. Use the password provided in the email you will then shortly receive.
5. Once logged in, update your password to a new, secure password, and ideally use a password-protection tool to store it.
